Become a Master Gardner
![]() The Master Gardeners (MG) of Clallam County are local volunteers who share their gardening knowledge and passion with each other and the community. They undergo an intensive 6-week training program conducted by the Washington State University (WSU) Extension Service of Clallam County to become an intern. After a specified number of hours of service, they become veterans. The MGs take a minimum of 10 hours of on-going education each year to learn the newest techniques, resources and horticultural research. The Master Gardeners Program presents a number of events and educational programs throughout the year. Some of the yearly events include: Plant Clinics Lectures and Seminars Garden Tour Youth Enrichment Program (YEP) Participation at the County Fair Radio Shows You'll find additional information and contact information on the WSU Clallam County Extension Service website.
